South Yorkshire Climate Alliance introduces a Repairing Communities Network – currently a collaboration between SYCA and Barnsley Civic with the support of BMBC as a key partner.
The Repairing Communities Network will support, develop and promote repair cafés and loaning facilities across the local communities of Barnsley. The Network will enable communities to reduce waste, lower living costs, build skills, and take practical local action on climate and sustainability.
Whilst initially targeting Barnsley groups, we aim to extend the network to cover Sheffield, Rotherham and Doncaster. If you have an interested group in these localities, then please do get in touch.
