Green City Action has been running a successful community Toolbank since the 1990s.

The Toolbank provides low cost tool hire to people and community groups in Burngreave and the surrounding areas. They have over 80 tools ranging from simple hand tools such as planers, through small power tools to large electric gardening tools eg strimmers etc.

By partnering with another community organisation, Green City Action can operate the hub several afternoons a week – though other Toolbank initiatives are usually open more restricted (but consistent) hours.
