Friends of the Earth is launching a new local group for Rotherham and District, and we’d love you to be part of it.

Whether you’re a long-time Friends of the Earth supporter looking to get more involved, an experienced campaigner already active in the area or you’re just keen to ensure more progress in your community, this event is an opportunity to meet like-minded people and help shape the future of local environmental action.

Across the UK, Friends of the Earth groups are bringing people together to win change in their communities, from cleaner air and warmer homes to protecting nature, tackling pollution and holding decision-makers to account. Now we’re building that power here in Rotherham.

At this online launch, we’ll explore the environmental and social issues facing our area, discuss a shared vision for the future, and begin building a local group that can make a real difference.

No previous campaigning experience is needed. We need all kinds of skills, perspectives and ideas to build an effective local movement.
