How to have philosophical conversations with young people about climate
An interactive workshop exploring questions you can use to spark dialogues about the climate and eco crisis with people young and old.
Grace Lockrobin (Director of Philosophy for Children at SAPERE and Teaching Fellow in Philosophy at the University of Leeds) will facilitate this workshop on how to have philosophical conversations about the climate and eco crisis with young people, based on her extensive experience in schools, communities and universities.
The workshop will be of interest to anyone who wants to have critical conversations about the climate and eco crisis, especially about the roles, responsibilities and rights of young people. No prior experience of philosophy is necessary.
The session will feature video footage of 9-14 year olds in conversation about questions that anyone can use (parents, educators and activists) to spark similar dialogues with people young and old.
