Workshops will offer the opportunity to explore practical issues – for example – ‘how can women workers be at the centre of planning and design of ‘green jobs’?
How should a vision of climate justice be developed which supports gender equality internationally?
Women farmers in many parts of the world are affected by climate change, deforestation, and desertification. How can climate justice include economic development which gives all people access to running water, electricity, decent healthcare and education and the internet?
Agendas for climate justice have proposals for just transition from jobs which harm the environment to green jobs. What does just transition mean for women’s employment?
How can women workers be at the centre of planning and design of ‘green jobs’?
How can the needs of women and others who are shift workers, parents, carers, the elderly and disabled be included at the planning stage of designing transport and communication patterns?
