HSE organised and publicised a public meeting in a local school to hear from an architect about retrofit surveys, planning and improvements. This addressed questions such as whether it all has to be done at once, what qualification or accreditation standards to look for and if you only had £200 to spend, what would be the best thing to spend it on. A solar energy company representative also spoke at the same meeting. Both HSE and the Green Triangle have also organised ‘open house’ sessions in their respective neighbourhoods. Residents who had had energy efficiency measures installed agreed to allow visitors in to see and hear about what had been done.
